ROUND CHALLAH FOR ROSH HASHANAH CAN BE ORDERED FROM THE MOSCOW FOOD CO-OP BAKERY:    Call them at 208.882.8537 – BEFORE NOON on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 and request to pick up your Round Challah on Wednesday, September 20.   You can order a “Plain Challah’ and/or a “Challah with Raisins.  Just tell them what you want and how many.

Kosher Deli Meats in Spokane

Temple Beth Shalom informs us that Kosher deli meat is available in Spokane at the SUPER 1 supermarket on 29th and Grand.  They have AARON’S kosher sliced turkey, salami, and whole salami!   Show them that you like it and they’ll bring in even more options. 

Commemorative Vigil, Friday, May 19th, 7-9 pm

On the tenth anniversary of the 2007 shootings in Moscow, the Moscow Interfaith Association is inviting all community members to a Commemorative Prayer Vigil.   Participants will gather at Friendship Square by the fountain, walk up the hill, and pause at the places where shots were fired.   The program will end in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church for a brief period of remembering and recommitting to peace and hope.
