Welcome to the Jewish Community of the Palouse, serving Moscow, Idaho, Pullman, Washington, the University of Idaho, Washington State University, Lewiston, Idaho, Palouse, Washington, Kooskia, Idaho, Clarkston, Washington, Joseph, Oregon, and surrounding areas.  We are a religious, social, cultural and educational organization operated by lay leaders with the help of volunteer–members.  JCP events are open to JCP members and their guests. If you are visiting or new to our area – or if you are not Jewish but would like to attend an event – please contact us for an invitation to our event.   We do not have a synagogue.   We rent space for our events.   We hire a Rabbi and trained religious leaders for some events.  Our major activities include:    High Holy Day Services;  monthly Friday Night Services and Torah Classes; a Chanukah Party;  and a Welcome Back Picnic.  Our members have also organized celebrations for Purim, Passover, Sukkot, Tu B’Shevat, as well as movie and discussion groups, all of which depend upon volunteer organization and participation.  Parents also organize a Sunday School educational program.
