JCP HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES — SCHEDULE

Please remember that tickets are not required for our services.  We rely upon the dues and contributions of our members (See LINK above).
   Once again, we are thrilled to have Bea Wallins provide us with Cantorial and other assistance for our High Holy Day Services.  Dr. Wallins received her Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Jewish Hermeneutics from Emory University, has taught at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Seattle University.
     ROSH HASHANAH EVENING SERVICE:  Wednesday, September 4, at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Moscow, 420 E 2nd Street (behind the 1912 Building).  We will start at 6:45 PM and have a pot-luck reception to follow services.  Please bring a sweet finger snack to share.  The JCP will provide beverages.    If you need child care, let me know.
     ROSH HASHANAH DAYTIME SERVICE:    Thursday September 5 – between 10 AM and Noon – at the home of Scot & Lea Wherland in Pullman.  
     YOM KIPPUR EVENING SERVICE:  Friday, September 13 at the Unitarian Universalist Church 420 E 2nd Street, in Moscow.  We will start at 6:45 PM.
     YOM KIPPUR DAY SERVICES:  Saturday, September 14, between 10 AM and NOON, at the home of Judy Sobeloff, 228 N. Howard, Moscow Idaho — located between A street and B street.
     YOM KIPPUR CONCLUDING SERVICE:  Saturday, September 14, at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Moscow.  We will start around 5 PM with a YIZKOR service. The final shofar blast will be around 6:30 PM, followed by a potluck “break-fast.”   Please bring a finger snack to share – perhaps something sweet to start the new year.  The JCP will provide beverages.
